Wire Working 101- 9 hours-3 day course

Introduction to Wire Working Skill Level - Beginner
BEGINNER TO ADVANCED CLASSES
You will learn basic wire techniques, wire wrapping and wire sculpting. You will also discuss the properties of various types of wire and learn the appropriate wire for use with different projects. Time permitting, you will create a ring, two pendants, a bracelet and earrings.
Copper wire is used for beginner classes. One day classes are also available using Sterling or Argentium Silver or 14K Gold Filled wire
Week One- Basic wire techniques and a Beaded Bracelet
Week Two- Wire Wrapped Pendant and Ring
Week Three-Wire wrapped Pendant and Earrings

BEAD ROCK - Workshop Descriptions

each month and will be held in the evening from 6:45 - 9pm for
those who can not make the day time one on Friday afternoons. Come out
and make new friends, learn something new, share ideas, and enjoy the company of other beaders.
Teachers are available to help. We can even turn this into a special project night. Beaders bring your thoughts and ideas.
Chainmaille
Participants will pick their own pattern from Ria's samples. Byzantine, Cable, European and Persian are just a few of the many styles to choose from!
Easy Crocheting with wire and beads
Create the most amazing results with wire and beads by crocheting and weaving. Beth the owner of Bead Rock has been crocheting since she was just 7 years old. She needed something to do while attending the many hockey games her older brother played. Now an avid crocheter & beader it just made sense to put the two together.
Learn how to crochet with wire and beads to create a beautiful weave necklace like no other. Very impressive!
Basic Stringing
Participants learn how to make a necklace and earring set. Students will know how to finish off and add a closure.
Fancy Loop Drop Necklace
Students learn basic weaving with Delica's and Swarovski bicones. Elegant and fancy. You'll want to wear this with that special outfit.

This necklace is made out of smaller seed beads 10/0 and has drop crystals incorporated into the weave for an extra special effect - Easy
Illusion Necklace
